Boys Summer Camps

Registration will open in Mid-January 

Important
The Instructional Camp and Water Polo Festival are two separate camps but designed to BE TAKEN TOGETHER. About 90% of campers sign up for both camps, yet campers can sign up for either or both. This session is perfect for athletes new to water polo.  Campers will need to bring their own lunch and the time between the two camps will be supervised by our staff.

The Stanford Water Polo Instructional Camp Session #1 - Morning
Dates: June 18-21
Time: Mornings from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Cost: $220
Skill Level: CAMPS FOR INTERMEDIATE / BEGINNING WATER POLO PLAYER

Designed to learn individual skills, water polo fundamentals, and team strategies at the country's premier aquatic facility. Co-ed athletes ages 7-14 are suited for this camp and will be grouped by age, ability and prior experience. 

The Stanford Water Polo Festival Session #1 - Afternoon
Dates: June 18-21
Time: Afternoons from 1:00-4:00 pm
Cost: $220
Skill Level: CAMPS FOR INTERMEDIATE / BEGINNING WATER POLO PLAYER

Opportunity to utilize the skills they worked on at the Instructional camp in real-life game situations. Teams of athletes ages 7-14 will be created and a tournament will run throughout the co-ed camp with games taking place in the Avery Aquatics Center including the Avery competition stadium pool where the varsity teams compete.

 

The Stanford Water Polo Instructional/Festival Combo Session #2 - Morning ONLY
Dates: June 26-29
Time: Mornings from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Cost: $220
Skill Level: CAMPS FOR INTERMEDIATE / BEGINNING WATER POLO PLAYER

Our second session combines both instruction and fundamental skills with scrimmages.  This is a 1/2 day only session, perfect for those who attended the first session and those with some experience.  We will break the group into levels so those new to the sport are highly encouraged to attend as well.

 

Advanced Camp for Boys
Dates: June 22-25
Cost:
Boys Commuter: TBD
         Boys Overnight: TBD

Ages: (13-18)

 For boys 13+ with at least one year of water polo experience and all boys in high school


Special Features:
Specific goalie instruction, individual position work, emphasis on shooting and team tactics as well as everyone will participate in the camp tournament.

Check In & Pick Up Information
Check In - Resident & Day Campers: Check in will be at 5:00 pm on the first day. A long water session will be this evening.
Pick Up - Resident & Day Campers: Camp concludes at 11:45 AM on the final day of camp. A water session will happen in the morning
